Meet Lady
KIMBERLY BUCKNER
Lady Kimberly Buckner, a woman of God who believes that God can take our smallest seeds and make them great for the Kingdom, is a native of Northern California. For many of her childhood years she lived with her mother in the south central Los Angeles area, years that she feels gives her a drive for excellence, a desire to serve through giving and a strong work ethic. In the early eighties, Lady Kimberly relocated to Brevard County, Florida where she continued her secondary education at Cocoa High School. It was at that time that many of her childhood lessons truly began to show value in her life through church service and leadership. Church participation has always been extremely important in Lady Kimberly’s life and she desires to instill her love of God, the church and service to all that she meets. Lady Kimberly has dedicated her love, time and talent to her husband’s ministry without hesitation and has assisted in the ministry vision in many capacities.
Her 1st love is rooted in the lives of our youth; praying that they grow in the uniqueness of Christ and desire to remain in lifelong fellowship with Him. For greater than 15 years Lady Kimberly has served as Youth Ministry & Youth Choir Director, years that have been enriched with experiencing the move of God upon the lives of children and teens. Acting within the vision of Pastor Buckner, Lady Kimberly was instrumental in the cultivation and facilitation of the Greater St. James Merit Scholarship Program and Women's Ministry.
Professionally, her desire for service extends within the community at large. Lady Kimberly is a Certified Oncology Registered Nurse with a professional focus on Informatics and Leadership. It is her continued desire to spread faith, hope, and health to each patient, caregiver and family member she meets. She is compassionate about community service and outreach related to cancer education and disparity elimination. Her service is also displayed through active membership in the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® Iota Pi Omega Chapter in Brevard County, Florida.
The evidence of God's amazing grace to Pastor and Lady Buckner are their children. Kiara Rava'e is a communications specialist and a graduate of Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University (Bachelor of Science in Public Relations) and University of Central Florida (Master of Science in Hospitality and Tourism Management). Kiara inherited from her father a love for reading and from her mother the desire to serve. Her smile and spirit are contagious and she approaches life valiantly.
In 2014, God added an additional blessing to the Buckner Family; Keith L. Buckner, Jr. At such a young age, KJ, as he is affectionately known, brings complete joy to everyone he meets. He excels in school and enjoys baseball, karate and playing with his toys.
