Meet Pastor
KEITH L. BUCKNER, SR.
Pastor Keith L. Buckner Sr. is a lifelong resident of Cocoa, Florida. He is married to his best friend and life partner, Kimberly K. Buckner. They have been blessed with two children, Kiara Rava'e and Keith Jr., and are spiritual parents to many, whose lives they have touched through ministry.
After dedicating his life to Christ at an early age and acknowledging his call to the Gospel ministry, Pastor Buckner was licensed to preach in the fall of 1989 and ordained in June of 1995, both events at Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church in Cocoa, Florida.
With his passion for God's word, in 1995 Pastor Buckner enrolled and graduated with an Associate of Arts Degree in Biblical Studies from Brevard Christian University, and received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biblical Studies two years later from Brevard Christian University. Pastor Buckner completed further studies at Faith Christian University in Orlando, Florida where he graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2006, with a Master's Degree in Bible and Theology.
In December 1996, Keith L. Buckner became the Pastor of Greater St. James Missionary Baptist Church in Mims, Florida. Since his Pastorate at Greater St. James, hundreds have been saved and added to the Kingdom, acres of land purchased, sanctuary and existing structures remodeled.
Amongst many accomplishments and achievements; ministries have been implemented and restructured, an annual high school merit scholarship program has been developed and implemented which since its inception in 2004 has granted well over $20,000 in educational funds - TO GOD BE THE GLORY!
Pastor Buckner is a gifted Pastor, Teacher and Preacher, favored by God to preach revivals, to speak at conferences and conventions. His fresh and powerful inspiring message, and teachings, have positively impacted the lives of many. He has a contagious spirit of generosity that flows through every facet of his ministry.
